Big bud of floral parts:
  • Tomato big bud

Symptoms: leaves are small, distorted, and yellowish-green. Buds are enlarged. Characteristic of tomato big-bud phytoplasma, a member of the aster yellows group.

Green callus-like growth on upper and lower surface:
  • Oedema

Symptoms: green callus-like growth on both the upper and lower leaf surfaces. Tissue may tear as the leaf matures.

Leafroll without yellowing or rugosity:
  • Physiological leafroll

Symptoms: pronounced leafroll of foliage over most of the plant.
