Herbicides:
- 2,4-D
Symptoms: fernleaf-like symptoms of foliage with leaf curl and plant stunting.

Symptoms: plant stem deformed with aerial foot initials.
- trifluralin / Treflan | See herbicide reference for more information
Symptoms: stem and crown damage with swelling and loss of roots. The whole plant may be stunted.
- glyphosate / Roundup | See herbicide factsheet for more information
Symptoms: plant stunting and leaf rolling with chlorosis in the leaf center. Degree of damage depends on dosage and plant stage at exposure.
Insecticides:
- Malathion
Symptoms: decline in vigor and leaf marginal chlorosis and necrosis.
- Thiodan
Symptoms: extensive defoliation, including loss of stems and petioles.
